About The Examination
Both the PRINCE2® Foundation as well as Practitioner exams are monitored and executed by AXELOS. These can appear in any one of the six languages – Dutch, English, German, French, Norwegian, and Polish.
The PRINCE2® Foundation exam: This has 60 multiple-choice questions and the duration of this exam is 60 minutes. In order to pass, candidates need to secure a minimum of 33 marks or more. The questions are distributed among the following criteria: classic, missing word types, and list. The PRINCE2® Foundation level is a closed book exam.
This certification holds a lifetime validity and does not require re-certification.
The PRINCE2® Practitioner exam: This is an advanced certification exam for the PRINCE2® and consists of 68 objective-type questions that need to be answered within 150 minutes. Candidates need to secure 38 marks out of 68 (55% approx.) to pass the exam.
It is an open book exam (Only the official printed hard copy of the Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2®® 2017 Edition is allowed.) and needs re-certification every 3 years.
